Author Guidelines

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARATION OF MANUSCRIPTS

Authors submit their works in Montenegrin, Serbian, Bosnian or Croatian, written in Latin or Cyrillic script.

Authors may also submit their works in English.

Papers must be submitted to the email address: zbornik.pf@ucg.ac.me


The works must meet the following formal and technical conditions :

  1. The program "Word" is used for text processing. The manuscript format is A4, font "Times New Roman" size 12 pt , with line spacing 1.15. Footnotes are also in the font "Times New Roman”, with size set to 10 pt, and spacing being set to 1. The layout (excluding headers and page numbers) should be set to 17 cm × 25.7 cm, with margins of 2 cm on all four sides.
  2. Supplementary materials (illustrations, tables, images, graphs, etc.) should be submitted along with the manuscript in an appropriate format.
  3. The submitted manuscript should include the following elements (in the listed order): Author’s full name, Academic and scientific title, and professional affiliation (place of employment), Title of the paper, abstract in the language in which the paper is written (up to 300 words), up to five keywords, main text of the paper, abstract in English (if the paper is written in English, the abstract should be in Montenegrin, Serbian, Bosnian, or Croatian), list of references, list of supplementary materials (if applicable).
  4. The paper should not exceed 6,000 words, including references and supplementary materials.
  5. Two lines below the author’s name, the title of the paper should be written in uppercase letters, 14 pt font size, centered.Two lines below the title, the abstract should follow, in 12 pt font. Keywords are listed in a new line below the abstract, without a period at the end, for example:
    Keywords: Court of Justice of the European Union, environment, principle of proportionality, direct effect
  6.  If the paper is written in Montenegrin, Serbian, Bosnian, or Croatian, the author must include a summary in English at the end of the paper. The summary should be written in 12 pt font and include the following elements: author’s name in the top-left corner (surname in uppercase), translated title of the paper in uppercase, summary text in proper English, keywords in English. If the paper is written in English, the summary should be provided in Montenegrin, Serbian, Bosnian, or Croatian, following the same format.
  7. Chapters and sub-sections should be numbered according to the following example:
    I. Access to Justice
    A. Access to Justice at the EU Level
    a) Case…
  8. It is recommended that the paper contains clearly marked sections titled INTRODUCTION, CONCLUSION, and REFERENCES.

Rules of citation:

The list of references should include only the bibliographic sources cited by the author in the main text, arranged in alphabetical order, in accordance with the alphabet used in the paper (Latin or Cyrillic)

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
